Earlier this month Brasenose College held our graduation event, when students who have recently completed their courses return to Oxford to celebrate the end of their studies, along with their families and other guests.

Brasenose College is thrilled at the appointment of Professor Andrew Burrows QC, to the Supreme Court.

I show a lot of school groups around college (shout out to Brasenose access initiatives!), and perhaps one of the most memorable things that has been said to me on a tour is “you guys are, like, normal”. Believe it or not, it’s true!

Brasenose College is delighted to announce excellent results for our undergraduate final examinations this summer.

I’m in my fourth year at Brasenose College, studying for a master’s degree in mathematical and theoretical physics, known as the MMathPhys.

The College is deeply saddened to announce the death of John Gardner, Fellow and Tutor in Law from 1991 to 1996.

Over the Easter holiday, Angharad (2^nd Year Biology & Access Rep), Joe Organ (Schools Liaison Officer) and myself, along with Maddy (1^st Year Languages), Alicia (3^rd Year Chemical Engineering) and Kathryn (School Liaison Officer) from St Catharine's College, Cambridge; went around North Yorkshire state schools encouraging students to apply to Oxbridge.

The next undergraduate Open Days at Brasenose College will be Wednesday and Thursday 3rd and 4th July.

On Monday 27^th May, Dr Leal and I were very kindly invited by Brasenose College student Abdullah Khalil to share in the Iftar at the Oxford University Islamic Society’s dedicated prayer room in the Robert Hooke building.

Studying biology as a 2^nd year at Brasenose, people often expect that I go absolutely nuts about the environment – and I am glad to say, that is one cliché I am happy to live up to.

I’m in my second year at Brasenose studying French and Arabic, which finds me currently spending my year abroad in Jordan.

Every year on Shrove Tuesday Brasenose staff and students partake in a very peculiar tradition known as ‘Ale Verses’.

I am currently in my fourth year studying Chemistry at Brasenose College, Oxford, the part of the Chemistry degree known as ‘Part II’. Unlike the first three years of my degree, this year has no exams, tutorials or coursework.

Access to Higher Education at Oxford and Other Places

At the end of the spring term each year, a group of students from Brasenose put on the annual Musical.

This year’s Boat Race saw three Brasenose students compete.

Two of the students, Katie Anderson (Economics & Management, 2018) and Juliette Allen (Geography, 2016), were in Osiris, the Women’s Reserve Boat: Katie as stroke, and Juliette in the two seat, and Toby de Mendonca (Chemistry, 2016), coxed the Men’s Blue Boat.

It is with sadness that I record the death of Dr Harry Judge, aged 90, on 2 April. He had a very long connection with Brasenose as a student, a Professorial Fellow and latterly from 1988 as Emeritus Fellow.

My Brasenose journey started in a rather unexpected way. I went on the UNIQ Summer School in the summer of my first year of 6th Form.
