John Bowers QC is delighted to present a “Principal’s Conversation” with Brasenose's first Frankland Visitor, highly acclaimed film director, playwright, and screenwriter Kenneth Lonergan.
Kenneth will take part in a number of events in College, culminating in a Principal's Conversation in the Amersi Foundation Lecture Room (formerly Lecture Room XI) at 4.45pm on Friday 31 May.
He is well known for his films You Can Count on Me, Margaret, and more recently, Manchester by the Sea, for which he won the Academy Award and BAFTA for Best Original Screenplay, and which he also directed. He co-founded the New York-based Naked Angels Theatre Company and his play, The Starry Messenger, will open in the West End later this month, starring Matthew Broderick and Elizabeth McGovern.
