In December 2018, the College purchased the Lloyds Bank building at Carfax, on the corner of High Street and Cornmarket. This is a very significant purchase for the College, providing an important stream of investment income, but also the possibility in future years to convert the upper floors for the college’s own uses, such as student accommodation. With support from the Jeffrey Fund, the College commissioned a report on the building’s history from Oxford historian Liz Woolley.
