Academic Background and Previous PositionsI have completed a DPhil (supported by an AHRC-Kingsgate Scholarship) on the lyric poetry of the Spanish humanist and Hebraist Benito Arias Montano (1525/27-98).
Undergraduate Teaching AreasSpanish Language (Translation and Grammar); literature of the Spanish Golden Age.
Research InterestsClassical reception, Christian humanism, religious literature, lyric poetry in the Golden Age of Spain.
